About Me

A bit about myself and my approach to therapy…

When COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020, I witnessed friends, neighbors, and family grappling with so much. It sparked a revelation for me to move on from my marketing career — my calling was in therapy. Collaborating creatively with individuals seeking to improve their lives felt like the culmination of my passions and life experiences. Now, in my practice, I aim to make space for folks to begin to heal, process, and work towards leading fulfilling, thriving lives.

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #146748) providing accessible, affirming psychotherapy to young professionals across California. I received my Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Depth Psychology.

I help my clients in navigating anxiety, ADHD, major life transitions, burnout, and/or relationship issues. Specializing in supporting neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, my therapeutic style is rooted in culturally affirming approaches. My practice focuses on fostering a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their identities and relationships.

Tailoring my approach to meet the specific needs of each individual or couple, I work with my clients to get to the root of communication barriers, provide tools for managing symptoms, and explore larger themes of identity and purpose.

Dedicated to staying updated of the latest research and best practices, I integrate evidence-based techniques with an objective, yet skeptical lens to better understand ourselves and the world around us.

My ultimate goal is to nurture growth, resilience, and genuine connections in the lives of those I serve.

If you're seeking support on your journey toward greater self-awareness and fulfillment, I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

Be well,

Rusty Redden, AMFT
